Within three years we want to become the most reliable partner for all of the firms active in the fibre optic market in the Czech Republic.

Our shareholders’ and employees’ aim is to provide our customers with complex ‘fibre-optic’ services through longterm cooperation. This means that our partners are not only our customers but also the suppliers. Professionalism, monitoring of trends outside of our field and looking forward are the basis which allow us to guide together with our partners further developments in our field.

History and Presence

RLC Praha a.s. is a medium size fully Czech company operating in the communication technology market. The company was established in 1993 as a company with a limited guarantee. RLC spol. s r.o. was in 2000 floated on the stock-market and changed into a public limited company – RLC Praha a.s.
Its activities include supply and provision of communication infrastructure systems with special attention to optical connections. The vast majority of produced and supplied products and services are aimed at the home market, some of the activities are also aimed at the EU and Eastern European markets.
In aid of its export and with the aim of providing its customers with products and services of the best possible quality, in 2004 the company introduced a quality assurance system and an environmental management system certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Company’s Pillars

	• Fiber Optics Made to Order Manufacture of pigtails (OPI), patch cords (OPK), pre-connector routes (OTR), conditioners (OPC), optical set network cabinets (ORO). All as requested by the customer. Sales Sales of optical cables and fibres, materials for constructions, reconstructions and running and maintenance of optic cable systems, tools and equipment.
	• WDM Systems Proposals and implementation of wave multiplex using CWDM (Coarse Wave Length Division Multiplexing) and DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technologies. Special manufacturing Couplers, circulators, WDM – routers, DWDM mux/demux, DWDM mux/demux, EDFA amplifiers, variable attenuators.
	• FTTx (fibre to the home, fibre to the desk, ...) Proposals and complex solutions for data transfers on optic networks into buildings or to user’s desk.
	• Realization & Services Professional consultations, proposals and implementation of technical solutions, installation of optic cables, finishing and measuring of optic routes, diagnostics and service (direct method, OTDR, OSA, MWM, PMD, CD), monitoring of WDM communication systems.
